POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT

To answer incoming calls as well as support outbound calls for Japan. Able to provide training to new joiners via buddy system as well as sharing experiences with reps. Participate in ad hoc projects, events, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and provide suggestions/feedback.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Support day-to-day operations of the contact center through effective communication with members via telephone, including order processing and inquiries handling, cross-country info handling.
  • Able to provide buddy system support (knowledge sharing and guiding new joiners) during the initial weeks or months on the job.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, events, UAT, and provide suggestions/feedback.
  • Familiar with internal department policies & procedures including record maintenance, royalty overrides, orders, award handling, system behavior, member compensation system, etc.
  • Able to log SNOW/ISupport and highlight system issues to IT immediately when they affect member experience and operations. Able to work with IT on solutions and directions.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve performance and make appropriate recommendations to the manager. Demonstrate a clear and ongoing process of improvement with the team and through quality initiatives.
  • Respond to or provide solutions to external partners/vendors, such as 3PL, regarding delivery issues like problem addresses, duplicate parcels, returns, etc.
  • Take full ownership of communication with logistics and 3PL during urgent issues or feedback, and seek permanent and preventive solutions.
  • Build and maintain good relationships within the team to foster a fun and happy working environment.

Skills/Education/Experience:

  • Secondary school education – SPM; tertiary education is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service or relevant MLM/Direct Selling with cash handling experience.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English; proficiency in Japanese is required.
  • Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems independently within company guidelines.
  • Self-motivated, attentive to details, with strong initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and be flexible with working hours.
  • Well-groomed with good manners.
