Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku is seeking a Repayments Intern in Kuala Lumpur. You will handle daily repayment distribution, reconciliation, and related tasks, while supporting SME financing operations. This internship offers exposure to process review and dashboard reporting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing finance/commerce degrees, with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. International students with valid Malaysia student visas are welcome.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in banking, finance, accounting, or any related field.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Independent and persuasive with strong interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven and a good team player.
• Familiarity with Excel and accounting analysis.
• Good communication and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak dialects is an advantage.
• Open to international students holding a valid Malaysian student visa permitting internship placement.

Responsibilities

• Handling daily repayment distribution and reconciliation.
• Managing repayment-related matters such as preparation of settlement letters, financing contracts, and other ad hoc tasks.
• Reviewing processes and enhancing systems.
• Building and monitoring performance dashboards to produce management reports.
