Job summary

SME Careers is seeking a remote TypeScript Engineer to support AI training data services. This hourly contractor role involves reviewing AI-generated code snippets, design proposals, and explanations, and producing high-quality content and reference solutions.

You will assess step-by-step reasoning, check solutions for correctness and clarity, and rate AI responses while contributing to model improvements. Strong TS skills, frontend or backend framework experience, and English proficiency are

Qualifications

2+ years of professional TypeScript experience.
Expertise in advanced TypeScript features including generics and utility types.
Proficiency with React, Angular or Vue.js, or Node.js with Express/NestJS.
Strong understanding of OOP, FP concepts and design patterns.
Experience with Git and standard workflows (branching, merging, PRs).
Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
Minimum C1 English proficiency (written and spoken).
Nice to have: merged TS-based open-source contributions.
Nice to have: competitive programming, API layer reviews, or AI data training exposure.

Responsibilities

Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses for accuracy and relevance.
Ensure Model Integrity: Test models for inaccuracies or biases across use cases.
