The role requires strong written English and keen observational skills. As a freelance remote position, you will segment videos, assign labels at multiple detail levels, and ensure every moment is covered.

Qualifications

• Strong written English; write precise descriptive sentences for each video.
• Sharp attention to detail to distinguish subtle differences in actions.
• Ability to follow a detailed, structured style guide consistently.
• Comfort with spatial/mechanical description (left/right, above/below).
• Reliable, self-directed work habits.
• Prior experience with video annotation or data labeling is a plus.
• Familiarity with robotics terminology is helpful but not required.
• Experience with annotation tools such as Label Studio.

Responsibilities

• Watch short robot manipulation videos from three synchronized camera views.
• Break each video into time segments and write clear, natural-language descriptions for each segment.
• Apply labels at three detail levels for each segment: atomic motion, subtask/skill, and task/goal.
• Ensure every moment is covered by a label at two or more levels with no gaps.
• Describe exactly what happens, including failures or slips, precisely.
• Cross-reference all three camera angles to confirm object identity and contact details.
• Follow a detailed style guide for vocabulary and movement description.
• Participate in periodic calibration sessions to align labeling with client references.
