Job summary

Kiratech is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. You will collaborate with developers, project managers, and clients to deliver reliable software that meets user expectations.

Responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, performing end-to-end testing, triaging tickets, reporting bugs, and ensuring releases meet requirements. Applicants should have at least 2 years of QA/testing experience and familiarity with Jira.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as QA Engineer or Software Tester with end-to-end testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA principles.
• Experienced in manual testing (end-to-end, smoke, regression, usability).
• Ability to write clear test documentation (test cases, test reports, bug reports).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and resolve defects.
• Perform end-to-end, smoke, regression, and usability testing across projects.
• Triage customer-reported tickets, reproduce issues, and provide reproduction steps.
• Document and report bugs clearly, track them through to resolution.
• Suggest feature enhancements based on testing and analysis.
• Ensure releases meet requirements before sign-off.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers throughout the testing cycle.
• Communicate testing status, bugs, and fixes with PM support.
