Omdia, part of Informa TechTarget, is a market research and consulting group focused on semiconductor markets. This Penang-based Principal Analyst role leads the Application Market Forecast Tool (AMFT) and delivers market-leading data and analysis to support strategy for global clients.

You will establish a compelling research agenda, collaborate with fellow analysts, produce insightful reports, and travel internationally to meet clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industry or as a semiconductor market analyst.
• Leading knowledge of semiconductor components and applications.
• Ability to write detailed, insightful reports with supporting data.
• Experienced in public speaking and thought leadership.
• Strong network of senior industry contacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead semiconductor market analysis and shape delivery of market-leading research.
• Develop primary and secondary research; author quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Produce written insights and press material with strong supporting evidence.
• Maintain a comprehensive model of the semiconductor market and applications.
• Collaborate with analysts to align revenue and shipment assumptions; validate forecasts.
• Travel internationally to meet clients and participate in industry events.
