Job summary

THE LANGUAGE GROUP, LLC is seeking an experienced healthcare interpreter for a remote-only position. You will interpret messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers, upholding ethical standards and patient confidentiality.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of interpreting experience (OPI/VRI preferred), relevant certifications (CHI/CMI/NIC/CI/CT/VQAS), and at least 40 hours of interpreter training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years interpreting experience, preferably OPI/VRI.
• National or State Interpreter Certification (CHI/CMI/NIC/CI-CT/VQAS).
• Strong command of medical, educational, and social services terminology in both languages.
• 40+ hours of interpreter training.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, time management, and basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in English and target language; fluency test results may be required.
• Reliable computer, headset, and high-speed internet.
• Quiet, confidential call environment.
