Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking Malay speakers to participate in a Speech-to-Text audio collection project. Participants will record voice utterances by reading scripts in Malay English (Manglish) using our mobile or web app, speaking naturally and conversationally. The project runs July 2026 to September 2026, requiring 10–20 hours total.

Location is Remote. Rate is $5 USD per hour of completed task; payments via Hyperwallet (PayPal or Bank Transfer).

Qualifications

• Fluent Malay speaker.
• Ages 12–60+ years.
• Device with a microphone (phone, tablet, PC, or laptop).
• Stable internet connection for the duration of the task.
• Independent contractor; you may complete the project once.

Responsibilities

• Record voice utterances by reading provided scripts in Malay English (Manglish) using a mobile or web application.
• Read scripts naturally and conversationally, avoiding overly formal or robotic speech.
• Complete multiple recording sessions across various everyday topics.
