Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking Malay speakers to participate in a Speech-to-Text (STT) audio collection project. You will read scripts in Malay English (Manglish) with natural speech using a mobile or web app, across multiple sessions and topics.

The project aims to create high-quality audio with corresponding scripts to train speech recognition models, improving AI systems and user experiences. Remote work, July 2026–September 2026, 10–20 hours total.

Qualifications

• Fluent Malay speaker with clear pronunciation.
• Good command of English for reading scripts.
• Aged 12–60+ years and eligible to participate.
• Own device with a microphone (phone, tablet or PC).
• Stable internet connection for recording sessions.

Responsibilities

• Record voice utterances by reading provided scripts in Malay English (Manglish) using a mobile app or web app.
• Participate in multiple short recording sessions across diverse topics and read naturally, not robotic.
