Job summary

TransPerfect Games is seeking a Remote Freelance Game LQA Tester for Malay and English languages. You will ensure localization accuracy, create detailed bug reports, and perform regression testing across multiple platforms in a dynamic, game-focused environment.

The role emphasizes native Malay testing, English/Chinese communication, and collaboration with QA teams. Immediate availability and strong attention to detail are valued in this remote freelance position.

Qualifications

Regular game player with passion for the video game industry.
Native Malay (testing language) with excellent spelling and grammar.
Good command of English and Simplified Chinese.
Gaming LQA experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in CS or game design is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Identify, isolate, document, and fix localization & linguistic issues and verify fixes.
Follow and complete Test Cases / Checklists for targeted testing.
Write bug descriptions per company standards and client specs.
Apply knowledge of user preferences in Target Market.
Proactively identify gaps in test coverage.
Collaborate with partner teams in testing.
Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, balance, and fun factor.
Complete other tasks as needed.
