The LANGUAGE GROUP, LLC seeks a remote interpreter to accurately translate conversations between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers. You will maintain patient confidentiality and follow the national standards and ethics for interpreters.

No on-site work required. Requirements include 3+ years of interpreting experience (OPI/VRI preferred), applicable certifications, fluency in English and the target language, and a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Qualificações

• 3 years minimum interpreting experience, OPI/VRI preferred.
• National or State Interpreter Certification (CHI/CMI/NIC/CI/CT/VQAS) if available.
• Strong terminology in medical, educational, and social services.
• 40 hours or more interpreter training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service, and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately interprets messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers or support personnel.
• Adheres to the National Standards of Practice for Interpreters and the National Code of Ethics.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
