Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Development Engineer in Malaysia to design and develop test software for transceiver modules and to implement full OOP design over an existing framework.

You will create test algorithms, instrument drivers, and document testing methodologies while working in a hybrid/onsite environment. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Software Engineering and at least 3 years' experience in test software engineering, with fresh graduates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Software Engineering and at least 3 years in test software engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in VB.NET and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test software for transceiver modules.
• Develop test software with full OOP design atop an existing system framework.
