Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in remote Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role focuses on gathering and analyzing financial data to guide decision-making and provide insights to business stakeholders.

You will prepare reports, present findings, and support budgeting and forecasting processes, with emphasis on cost management and profitability in a global environment. Prior experience with international entities and accounting software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, business management, statistics, or related field is preferred.
• Relevant financial analysis certification(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Extracts data from financial reports to conduct financial and statistical analysis and identifies financial discrepancies.
• Contributes to the monitoring and controlling of expenditure by approving or denying requisitions within budget.
• Prepares a variety of financial reports based on analysis results.
• Conducts presentations related to findings and provides recommendations to stakeholders.
• Researches and analyzes project costs and profitability to inform decisions.
• Reconciles monthly account analysis for balance sheet accounts.
• Ensures budget and forecast variances are analyzed with actionable recommendations.
• Assists with input into the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Performs risk/opportunity analysis and communicates financial levers with recommendations.
• Reviews business initiatives to ensure profitability targets are met.
• Identifies cost management opportunities to improve profitability.
• Performs other relevant tasks as assigned.
