RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is seeking a skilled Remote Cantonese Interpreter to support the US healthcare sector. The role requires real-time consecutive interpretation over the phone between healthcare professionals and patients, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Schedule is 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) with fixed Sat & Sun off, permanent night shift (9:00 PM–6:00 AM or 10:00 PM–7:00 AM), 9-hour shifts including an hour break.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Cantonese and advanced English (B2+/C1).
• High School Diploma or higher.
• 0–5 years experience; fresh grads welcome.
• Ability to work remotely with a quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, real-time consecutive interpretation over the phone between healthcare professionals and patients.
• Manage tone, pace, neutrality, and professionalism during live on-call sessions.
• Translate medical conversations without altering meaning or adding opinions.
• Handle urgent, stressful, or sensitive medical calls with composure.
• Ensure strict compliance with global privacy, data protection, and medical confidentiality standards.
