Job summary

SearchApi is seeking an engineer passionate about breaking through anti-bot systems and fingerprinting techniques. The role focuses on bypassing major protections and refining stealthy browser automation at scale, with a strong emphasis on TLS, network traffic analysis, and protocol fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with browser automation internals (Playwright/Puppeteer/Selenium).
• Expertise in fingerprinting techniques and spoofing detections.
• Experience bypassing major anti-bot protections (Cloudflare, Akamai, DataDome, PerimeterX).
• Strong network traffic analysis skills using tools like Wireshark/Burp/mitmproxy.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement anti-bot evasion techniques.
• Reverse engineer bot detection systems and bypass them.
• Work with browser fingerprinting, canvases, WebGL, and related properties.
• Debug TLS/protocol fingerprinting (JA3/JA4, HTTP/2/HTTP/3, QUIC).
• Optimize Playwright/Puppeteer configurations for stealth.
• Analyze network traffic to understand detection mechanisms.
• Build internal testing tools for evasion validation.
• Document findings and share knowledge with the team.
