SME Careers is seeking an Accounting SME to review AI-generated accounting content and provide expert explanations. You will assess accuracy, prepare model solutions, and rate responses across GAAP/IFRS, with emphasis on auditability and clarity.

The role is remote, hourly, and contractor-based, with flexible collaboration across time zones. A CPA/ACCA/CMA and 5+ years in accounting are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA is a strong plus.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience in various settings.
• Strong command of revenue, accruals, fixed assets, inventories, payroll, and taxes.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Familiarity with internal controls and audit readiness.
• C1 English proficiency; clear writing and structured explanations.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: Create prompts and gold-standard accounting outputs (journal entries, explanations, reconciliations logic).
• Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses for GAAP/IFRS adherence and clarity.
• Ensure Model Integrity: Test outputs for inaccuracies, bias, and reliability across scenarios.
