Job summary

A Malaysian engineering company is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee reliability testing and machine maintenance. Candidates should possess a degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of reliability testing and machine maintenance is essential. Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the section with the help of engineers.
• Responsible for reliability lab testing equipment and machine maintenance.
• Work with the Reliability Engineer to ensure machines and equipment for reliability testing perform according to qualification, specific requirements, or procedures specified by R&D or customers.
• Coordinate and arrange preventive maintenance and calibration of chambers, ovens, and reliability test equipment.
• Guide and train technicians for machine/equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Involved in sourcing, evaluating, and managing machine spare parts.
• Work with vendors and/or Reliability Engineers for any machine buy-off, modification, repairs, or maintenance.
• Drive reliability testing improvement projects (process, machine, cycle time improvement, and cost saving).
• Review and update procedures or documentation relating to reliability machine and equipment maintenance.
