To assist the Senior Relationship Manager or Section Head in:

  1. Engaging in sales and marketing activities;
  2. Managing existing clients’ relationships to ensure sound credit standing; and
  3. Generating revenues for the Bank.

Responsibilities include credit appraisal and review processes, timely submission of annual reviews, variations, and internal reports, and maintaining loan processing and tracking reports weekly/monthly.

Plan and conduct client meetings and site visits to understand business activities and key risk areas, followed by reports.

Maintain contacts with other banks and ICBC Group for potential opportunities.

Ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the department’s operations.

Encourage cross-selling activities and collaborate with other departments and branches to achieve the bank’s goals.

Strictly adhere to policies, procedures, and manuals issued by the Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, other regulators, and ICBC Head Office.

Manage compliance risks in daily activities, processes, and systems.

Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by the Head of Department or Senior Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in finance, banking, accounting, or related fields; professional credit certifications like PCC, CCE, BCP are advantageous.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in corporate banking or financial institutions.
  • Strong business acumen, results-oriented, customer-service focused, innovative.
  • Strong credit, marketing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English and/or Mandarin, both verbal and written; proficiency in Mandarin preferred for client communication.
