Job summary

Arxada seeks a Regulatory Specialist to join the Asia Pacific Regulatory Team, focusing on Thailand, Korea, Australia & New Zealand. You will obtain and maintain product approvals, respond to regulatory challenges, and support a compliant culture through hands-on regulatory work.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or life sciences, 3+ years in regulatory affairs, and fluency in English with Thai language preferred. Collaboration with manufacturing and labeling teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in chemistry or life sciences.
• Business fluent in English and ideally Thai language.
• Typically, 3+ years of industrial experience, ideally in chemical industry regulatory affairs.
• Expert knowledge of the regulatory framework for chemicals - particularly Thailand & Korea.
• Strong scientific understanding of chemistry, efficacy, toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate or risk assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations or policies that may impact Arxada products and be able to advise stakeholders on applicable requirements and route to compliance.
• Compile appropriate dossiers to obtain relevant product registrations and other applicable permits for new products
• Ensure compliance with Thailand import/manufacture license and notification requirements for company products, customers’ samples and raw materials
• Maintain product registrations to ensure continued compliance for Thailand & Korea. Co-ordinate with our Thai manufacturing plant & hazard communication/labelling teams to ensure that the SAP and Sphera IA tools have the right data, layouts and rules/algorithms to meet national requirements for SDS and product labels.
• Compile responses to customer questionnaires on company products as well as other regulatory inquiries from customers
