Job summary

MD Healthcare Sdn Bhd is seeking a Regulatory & Business Development Executive to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This full-time role bridges regulatory affairs and business strategy to drive growth while ensuring regulatory compliance across pharmaceuticals and medical devices in Malaysia.

The successful candidate will manage regulatory submissions, identify growth opportunities, and build relationships with authorities and healthcare professionals to support market penetration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs, business development, or a related role within pharma or medical devices.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian regulatory requirements, including registration processes and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory compliance and submissions for pharmaceutical and medical device products, ensuring adherence to Malaysian and international regulatory standards.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion possibilities within pharmaceuticals and medical devices sectors.

• Liaise with regulatory authorities, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders to maintain relationships and gather market intelligence.
• Prepare regulatory documentation, dossiers, and applications for product registrations and approvals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.

What we're looking for

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory requirements, including registration processes and compliance standards
• Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks (such as those in other ASEAN countries, Australia, or the United States) is advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Malaysia when required
