An established industry player is seeking a Compliance Executive to lead social and environmental audits while ensuring adherence to industry standards. This role involves managing audit programs, coordinating inspections, and maintaining compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance management and quality assurance, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. Lead the planning and implementation of social and environmental audits such as SMETA, ensuring adherence to SEDEX membership standards.
Set up and manage quality and supply chain audit programs, including but not limited to ISO, FCCA, and SCAN.
Coordinate and facilitate all factory-related inspections and third-party audits, ensuring timely preparation and on-site support.
Act as the key liaison between auditors, factory teams, and internal departments.
Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all audit-related activities, findings, and corrective actions.
Monitor and ensure continuous compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and client-specific requirements.
Identify compliance gaps and work with relevant departments to develop corrective and preventive actions.
Continuously improve compliance-related processes and standard operating procedures within the factory environment.
Educate factory teams on compliance requirements and audit preparedness.
Conduct internal compliance checks and mock audits to maintain audit readiness.
Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in compliance, audit coordination, or quality assurance within manufacturing operations.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FCCA, SCAN, and local labor laws).
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Certified Internal Auditor or equivalent certification.
Experience with sustainability or social compliance audits (e.g., SMETA, SA8000).
Knowledge of compliance management systems.
