Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a Manager, Business Compliance (Regional Wealth Management) to embed a strong compliance framework across the Wealth Management division. You will liaise with Group Compliance, coordinate audits, and drive training and remediation of findings, ensuring adherence to AML/CFT and other regulatory requirements.

Experience in financial services risk management, internal controls or compliance within a First Line of Defence.
Knowledge of wealth management products, services, and related regulatory risks.

Responsibilities

Support embedding and operation of the bank's Compliance framework within the division.
Act as liaison between Business and Group Compliance for day-to-day queries and audits.
Review regulatory guidelines and product launches for compliance alignment.
Design and deliver engaging compliance training programs for employees.
Coordinate audits and remediation of findings with Audit and Risk teams.
Escalate non-compliance incidents and coordinate regulatory information requests.
Build relationships with stakeholders to implement policies and procedures.
