Job summary

Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Regional Technical Manager to lead technical and sustaining engineering resources across Asia regional manufacturing facilities.

You will drive continuous improvement, scale operations, and coordinate activities between sites to hit short- and long-term goals. The role requires extensive experience in high-precision manufacturing, regional leadership across multiple sites, and a strong focus on MTBF, MTTR, and OEE.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have 10+ years in high-precision manufacturing.
• Experience leading regional technical/manufacturing teams across sites.
• Proven track record in capital projects and automation programs.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Operations, Engineering, and Sales to develop technical strategies.
• Establish regional KPIs for equipment reliability and maintenance costs.
• Lead TPM strategy deployment and regional sustaining manufacturing engineering teams.
• Drive automation roadmaps to reduce manual operations and lower unit cost.
• Collaborate with HR and site leadership on growth and performance management.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
