Position Purpose:

We are looking for a Regional Talent Acquisition Lead to join our Talent & Excitement team and drive the overall recruitment for us to grow the business globally. As a Regional Talent Acquisition Lead, you will lead a small team of recruiters and develop talent channels for our current and future hiring needs in our company. You will also build strategic relationships with key leaders and other teams across our complex business. Principal Accountabilities / Scope:

Recruitment

  • Establish a strong rapport with hiring managers to develop a strategy to fill all open positions in a timely manner. Ensure clear mutual understanding of hiring priorities and practical constraints. Guide the hiring managers through the recruitment process where needed.
  • Manage communications between applicants, hiring managers and others to keep all parties apprised of the status of each search.
  • Work with the hiring managers to develop job descriptions. Job descriptions need to reflect responsibilities and qualifications that are appropriate for the title of the position.
  • Post advertisements in various recruitment platforms, company websites, networks, etc. including internationally focused sources.
  • Screen/review online applications evaluating such factors as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge, ability and developing a short list of potential candidates to endorse the hiring managers essentially to meet the requirements.
  • Present fully screened, qualified candidates to hiring managers in a timely manner. Review candidate qualifications with hiring managers. Facilitate applicant interviews with hiring managers (in person and/or virtually).
  • Manage candidate interview results and selection decision with hiring manager. Provide candidates with feedback on interview results.
  • Responsible for creating overall positive candidates’ experiences.
  • Manage the offer process and negotiate compensation package including salary, start date and others as appropriate.
  • Submit all candidate information (resume, employment application form, references, communications, documentation) to the human resources department for on boarding.

Employer Branding

  • Develop and execute regional employer branding strategies in line with global EB direction.
  • Partner with Marketing/Comms to create compelling recruitment campaigns, social media content, and employee stories.
  • Organize and represent the company at regional talent events, career fairs, and university partnerships.

Reporting

  • Maintain and update reports such as the TA Tracker, etc. for internal use and reporting requirements.

General

  • Recommend improvements to current recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost-effective services are being provided to hiring managers.
  • Provide support in managing the applicant flow and maintaining applicant flow data.
  • Assist with documenting the internal recruitment process flow and procedures.
  • Attend career fairs to promote the company and deepen the pool of potential candidates. Provide information on company operations and employment opportunities to potential applicants.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and hiring databases including applicant tracking system, MS Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated use of a variety of advertising sources to attract diverse candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills that are clear, concise, and professional.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, resilient, solutions oriented, creative.

Job Specifications:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
  • Have at least ten (10) years of working experience in full cycle talent acquisition, including regional involvement.
  • Experience in screening and interviewing candidates to assess skills, experience, fit with organizational culture and other characteristics necessary to fill positions.
  • Experience searching for candidates with executive, professional and technical expertise.
  • Have had experience in business processes optimization with significant exposure in review processes that lead to the identification of redundancies or inefficiencies.
  • Is highly organized, have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, have excellent negotiation skills, be self-motivated working under minimal supervision, and be service-oriented.
  • Have a high degree of honesty and integrity, be proactive, have a high level of accuracy, have strong attention to detail, and demonstrate calmness and composure under pressure and in times of uncertainty.
  • Have demonstrated strong leadership skills, being able to inspire and motivate a cross-functional team leading it in a unified direction and with a unified vision.
  • Have excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Labour Law and Industrial Relations in Asia.
  • Have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
  • Can influence top departmental leadership and management. Will, therefore, be likeable and relatable, inspiring trust in others, and demonstrating an organic ability to establish strong and meaningful relationships with others.
  • Have a positive and professional attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.
