A leading company is seeking a Regional Senior Accounts Specialist (GL) to support financial reporting and compliance for its portfolio of companies. The successful candidate will handle period-end closing activities, prepare financial reports, and improve accounting processes. This role requires strong accounting skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with financial analysis. Applicants should hold an accounting degree and possess 2-3 years of relevant experience.
This role is responsible for providing support to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of companies.
Work closely with the Finance team to ensure consistency and best practices are developed and maintained across the function, proactively driving the ongoing improvement of business practices and performance.
Support activities related to general accounting, timely period-end closing, and reporting in compliance with FRS, group policies, and statutory requirements.
Prepare financial and management reports, along with related analysis and commentaries.
