About The Role

Scania Export Markets Asia (SEMA) is a newly established Business Unit within Scania, dedicated to driving growth in the region through appointed independent distributors and dealers. We are seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager with strong leadership and communication skills to contribute to this expansion.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will collaborate with colleagues at SEMA and with independent distributors and dealers in the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, and Cambodia to increase sales of Scania trucks and buses. Your role is crucial in unlocking the market’s growth potential. Success depends on your ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and foster trust across different cultures.

The position’s base is flexible, preferably near Southeast Asia, and will be decided based on individual circumstances.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and monitor the sales strategy for your assigned markets.
  2. Manage and develop sales channels for trucks and buses with independent dealers.
  3. Coach and support dealers to enhance their sales capabilities.
  4. Provide business support to dealers within your area.
Your Profile
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with Scania’s commercial operations.
  • Deep understanding of Scania’s product and solutions portfolio.
  • Customer-focused with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Experience working in or with emerging markets is highly advantageous.
  • Culturally open, humble, calm, and patient attitude.
  • Possesses a broad network within Scania.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
