- Achieve sales and KPI targets within the assigned territory.
- Monitor sales progress and implement strategic action plans.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Promote new products and open new markets as directed.
- Conduct regular market and customer research; provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular visits and business reviews.
- Ensure timely customer payments and accurate pricing in orders.
- Handle new inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up to close deals.
- Submit complete new customer applications with documentation.
- Maintain sales forecast accuracy (90+ days) in SAP with >90% accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and participate in relevant marketing activities.
- Attend training programs, meetings, and support company SOPs.
- Prepare and submit timely reports including forecasts, project updates, customer feedback, and ad hoc tasks as required.
Project Management
- Define project scope and develop detailed project plans.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Serve as the main liaison between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Identify, assess, and appoint suitable distributors.
- Collaborate with distributors on product targeting and pricing strategies.
- Set and negotiate annual targets and agreements.
- Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with distributors.
- Monitor distributor forecasts, purchase orders, and inventory levels.
Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of annual sales and marketing plans.
- Propose and submit monthly performance updates and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate account records and offer actionable insights for business improvement.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused attitude in all undertakings.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or equivalent business experience.
- Minimum5 years of sales experiencein thefood industry.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Willingness to travel frequently withinMalaysiaand theAsia Pacific region.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a pleasant personality.
- Proficient inEnglish and Mandarin(Mandarin iscompulsory).
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
