Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a leadership role responsible for overseeing sales operations, driving revenue growth, and managing a sales team within a designated geographic region. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies, implementing regional sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and analyzing market trends and competitors’ activities.
  • Managing turnover and Profit & Loss for the assigned sales area within the country/region.
  • Leading the Area Sales Manager (ASM) and Business Development Manager (BDM) teams, where applicable, including resource and capacity allocation.
  • Serving as an escalation point internally and externally for ASM and BDM teams.
  • Identifying and acquiring new dealers and developing existing customer portfolios within the sales area.
  • Ensuring proper deployment of T&C and pricing within frameworks, and increasing distribution penetration and listings.
  • Implementing cross-business-unit marketing activities across the sales area.
  • Monitoring sales metrics and preparing regular performance reports for senior management.
  • Collaborating with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies and meet customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-6 years of sales experience; relevant experience in the Power Tools industry is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in generating new business and achieving rapid revenue growth, with strong value selling and negotiation skills.
  • Flexible, resilient problem solver with assertiveness and persuasion skills, enthusiastic about technological developments, and capable of leveraging them to propose technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in negotiation, presentations, and interpersonal interactions.
  • Experience in leading a team is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
