About the role

Join DMC Connect Pte Ltd as a Regional Sales Executive and play a key role in driving the company's growth across the Southeast Asia region. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. As a Regional Sales Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional travel and tourism services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Manage a portfolio of regional clients, ensuring their travel and tourism needs are met with the highest level of service

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local tourism boards and industry partners

Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue through the expansion of existing client accounts and the acquisition of new clients

Collaborate with the broader team to develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies

Provide strategic input and recommendations to the leadership team to drive the company's regional growth initiatives

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with a proven track record of success in a sales role

Extensive knowledge of the Malaysia tourism landscape, including regulations, market dynamics, and industry best practices

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective growth strategies

Require to travel when necessary

Fluency in English and Chinese. Other foreign language is an advantage.
