What's the role?

As a Regional Category Manager, you will manage a specific sourcing category and develop sourcing strategies tailored to each category. Your responsibilities include leading strategic sourcing projects to achieve cost efficiencies and optimal business solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will build long-term supplier partnerships and ensure service levels are met.

What does the role involve?
  • Adopting an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset to challenge the status quo, take calculated risks, and foster innovation.
  • Acting as a change agent, guiding stakeholders through transformation processes.
  • Staying informed about relevant external trends and adapting strategies to add value to the organization.
  • Developing and implementing strategic initiatives within an assigned portfolio of indirect sourcing categories.
  • Leading sourcing projects, negotiating with suppliers, managing tactical purchasing, and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Ensuring compliance with the source-to-contract process.
What you need is:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in procurement, supply chain, IT, business, or finance.
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, engineering, finance, or project management within a multinational organization.
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on results.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English with effective communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Strong business acumen and visionary thinking, complemented by a hands-on approach.
