Job summary

Businesslist in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead regional process improvement and transformation initiatives across payroll and finance operations. You will partner with stakeholders to define business cases, drive implementation, and support digitalisation and automation efforts.

Ideal candidates bring regional or multinational experience, strong communication, and a track record in delivering efficiency gains through governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management or business transformation with payroll/finance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional process improvement and transformation projects across payroll and finance operations.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, define business cases, and drive implementation.
• Support digitalisation, automation, reporting, and system enhancements.
• Drive standardisation, governance, and compliance across service lines.
• Monitor project outcomes, KPIs, productivity gains, and performance.
• Facilitate Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement programmes.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve process and system-related challenges.

• Drive standardisation, efficiency, governance, and compliance across service lines
• Monitor project outcomes, KPIs, productivity gains, and operational performance
• Facilitate Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement programmes across the organisation
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve process and system-related challenges

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, business transformation, process improvement, or operational excellence, with exposure to payroll and/or finance-related projects
• Experience supporting regional or multinational organisations, preferably within a shared services or GBS environment
• Strong stakeholder management and process optimisation capabilities
• Exposure to automation, system implementation, reporting, analytics, or digitalisation projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams
• Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP certification is an added advantage
