A leading automotive company is seeking a skilled Regional Parts Manager to lead their After Sales Business Development in Malaysia. You will be responsible for managing regional operations, reviewing business plans, and developing policies to enhance revenue. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in the spare parts business and strong leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in spare parts management.
  • Broad functional experience with 5 years in Spare Parts business.
  • High EQ for effective interaction.

Job description

Responsible for providing Leadership and guidance to the Regional Parts, Regional After Sales Business Development and Warehouse Team.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To manage Regional Parts and supply chain section

  • To review and monitor After Sales Business plan in the Region to ensure there are proper plan to generate revenue and post event reviewing

  • To explore various ways to increase After Sales revenue and profit through promotions, events and reducing cost

  • To Set/review KPI for spare parts business and reporting forecast

  • To develop Parts policies and SOP

  • To oversee Spare Parts business operations on Regional scale

  • To manage warehouse inventory system

  • Monitor MIG countries Parts inventory

  • Liaise with Subaru Parts Divisions on Parts ordering, back orders, Order lead time, and request for support for After Sales business

  • To manage MIE Parts business and warehouse management

  • To handle any ad-hoc tasks given

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical Degree with at least 8 years’ relevant experience

  • Broad functional experience is essential. Approx. 5 years of experience in Spare Parts business

  • High EQ for effective interaction with all relevant agencies (internal & external) is essential

  • Proficiency in computer software – essentially MS Office, added advantage if proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills

  • Able to work in fast paced environment

  • This position requires traveling within Asia Region

  • Position and package offered will commensurate with experience
