Job Description

This high-impact role, based in Kuala Lumpur, will drive the manufacturing strategy across Southeast Asia, optimize multi-site operations, and champion innovation in advanced production technologies. • Implement the global manufacturing strategy across Southeast Asia & Pacific, adapting it to local market and operational needs.
• Lead all regional manufacturing sites to ensure alignment with productivity, efficiency, quality, and sustainability goals.
• Standardize and enhance manufacturing processes to maximize resource utilization, reduce waste, and improve output.
• Champion the adoption of advanced technologies such as automation, robotics, and AI to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
• Uphold legal, regulatory, environmental, and safety standards across all manufacturing operations.
• Oversee manufacturing P&L at the plant level and ensure efficient use of resources within the assigned budget.
• Build and lead a strong regional manufacturing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 15+ years in manufacturing leadership, with regional or multi-country oversight.
• Degree in Production, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering; specialization in Operations Management is preferred. GPMC, CPE, or similar manufacturing/operations certifications are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, automation, robotics, AI, and advanced materials.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive strategic initiatives across diverse cultures.
• Experience in building business cases, managing P&L, and aligning operations with long-term goals.
