Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead and oversee day-to-day Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operations across all assigned sites within the Central Region ensuring smooth service delivery and operational excellence.
- Monitor and manage Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities to ensure all tasks are completed within SLA and budget limits.
- Support new site readiness by inspecting project completions and maintaining accurate Construction Readiness Reports (CRR) in line with client and operational requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate third-party service providers (e.g., TM/Dealers) to ensure effective delivery of contracted services.
- Track and manage FM KPIs, ensuring all performance indicators are met and aligned with contract obligations and safety standards.
- Maintain full compliance with statutory regulations, safety and health standards, and internal QSHE policies through regular audits and team engagement.
- Assist Operations Manager with crisis response, performance reviews, and compliance documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships, assist in procurement processes, and review invoices to ensure cost control and timely payment.
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring clear, timely communication and addressing feedback, complaints, or disruptions effectively.
- Provide regular reporting, including monthly management updates and ad-hoc reports for internal use or client presentations, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any discipline from a university recognised by the Malaysian government.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for report preparation, presentations, and business improvement plans.
- Experience in managing contractors and vendors, including performance tracking and issue resolution.
- Familiar with maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS, Asseto) and able to interpret data for operational decisions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia – written and spoken.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
- Flexible and mobile, willing to travel within the Central Region to oversee operations as required.
