Job description

About You.

Do you have a passion for business and data analysis? This role is crucial for the business as it requires strong data insights combined with business acumen to analyze, design, recommend, and contribute to pricing strategies, supply & sourcing, and the overall business framework across the nation.

Your Day-to-Day

  1. Develop and improve strategies, models, and frameworks for category management, becoming a proactive partner supporting category management in different countries.
  2. Assist in developing the right category strategy to achieve company-wide KPIs, including inventory assortment, sales speed, profitability, and market share across various countries. The primary KPIs are sales speed and margin.
  3. Advise the local category team on data-driven insights and build reporting and analytical capabilities for the regional category management department.
  4. Analyze performance trends of inventory and sales, transforming data into actionable insights. Champion recommendations for improvements in inventory, pricing, and revenue management.
  5. Support the regional category team in analyzing operational and campaign performance to provide insightful recommendations.
  6. Collaborate with marketing, commercial strategy, operations, and product teams on various initiatives.
  7. Improve category management processes by understanding pain points and finding ways to enhance (product development, data insights, etc.).
  8. Continuously improve data integration to achieve a single source of truth.
  9. Leverage insights (web traffic, search data) to identify opportunities for demand improvement, working with marketing, go-to-market, and product teams.

Your Know-How

  • At least 1 year of experience in a commercial role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with strong statistical and analytical skills. Knowledge of SQL & Tableau is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to achieve goals.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing workload under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an innovative approach to business planning.
