Job description
Regional IT Expert – Laboratory Software Integration & Customer Support
Responsibilities:
  • Support customers’ IT departments across Asia-Pacific to install and integrate AP Connect into their corporate IT infrastructures
  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT service inquiries regarding user management, server installations and instrument connections , ensuring timely and professional resolution of customer issues
  • Analyze and resolve system disruptions at the 2nd-level support tier
  • Train end-users and customers on AP Connect integration, IT systems, and security best practices .
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach , ensuring proactive communication and efficient problem resolution.
Your profile:
  • Completed technical education with a focus on IT and several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Ability to manage IT services following ITIL best practices, ITIL certification preferred
  • Expertise in network technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, cloud security, reverse proxy, VPN, virtualization and containerized installations.
  • Proficiency in Windows Client environments, including client management, Active Directory, Group Policies, and anti-virus software/endpoint protection software.
  • Hands on experience in client-server and corporate database installations (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
  • General understanding of system integration to support AP Connect adaption.
  • Structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong team spirit and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages especially Chinese are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
