Job summary

MR D.I.Y. in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive, Internal Audit with a regional scope focused on analytics and risk monitoring. You will support regional audit oversight while collaborating with local teams to provide data-driven insights and elevate audit quality.

This role offers regional exposure, opportunities to work across countries, and involvement in operational audits when required, with a strong emphasis on data analysis, risk signals, and timely communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent in related discipline; professional qualification preferred: MIA/CPA/CIA/CFE/ACCA.
• 2–5 years of audit experience with exposure to operational audit; Big 4 background preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret large datasets.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Excel, ACL, Power BI, Python is preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across diverse cultures and regions.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risk areas.
• Identify and escalate emerging risks across multiple countries.
• Review selected audit papers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality in audit work.
• Coordinate consolidation of audit findings across entities and stakeholders.
