Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Lead Digital Manufacturing Transformation expert for its regional manufacturing network in Malaysia. The role focuses on deploying digital manufacturing initiatives and guiding Industry 4.0 adoption across sites.

You will develop roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with operations, engineering, supply chain and IT. Travel across sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in Digital Manufacturing, Smart Factory, or Industry 4.0 environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Experience leading regional programmes, deployments, or transformation projects.
• Knowledge of automation, data analytics, AI, and manufacturing technologies.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across regional manufacturing sites (50-75%).

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional deployment and execution of digital manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop and manage digital transformation roadmaps across manufacturing sites.
• Support implementation, integration, and connectivity of digital manufacturing solutions.
• Drive adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies and best practices.
• Deliver training and capability development programmes for site teams.
• Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, and IT stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during implementation.
• Establish governance processes and track project performance and outcomes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive effective change management.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
