Job summary

Mattel is seeking an HR Business Partner for Malaysia and Indonesia to advise leaders on people strategies and drive employee experience. You will partner with regional teams to implement talent, performance and engagement initiatives across local markets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 5+ years in HR/People & Culture, preferably in a multinational environment. A strong foundation in employment law and change management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is required.
• 5+ years' experience in HR or People & Culture with business partnering.
• Experience advising leaders on performance management and organisational change.
• Knowledge of Malaysian employment law; Indonesian practices a plus.
• Experience in a matrix, regional or multinational organisation with multi-country exposure.
• Experience partnering with commercial or corporate functions.
• Strong analytical and change management capability.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary People & Culture partner for leaders across Malaysia and Indonesia.
• Provide coaching and guidance on leadership, performance and employee matters.
• Support talent reviews, succession planning and development planning.
• Partner with leaders on recruitment, onboarding and internal mobility.
• Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and company policies.
