About the Company

This is a fast-growing and well-loved F&B/Retail company with an expanding market share in this segment, consistently winning new customers from its competitors with its high quality products and up-to-date designs. With a robust plan in place to continuously grow the business further, they are looking for a Head of FP&A for this region.

About the Role

This Head of FP&A will take on a regional coverage and report to the Group CFO. You will manage and build the capabilities of your team in a bid to scale the FP&A function further in line with the expansion of the business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of FP&A, such as planning, spending, budgeting, forecasting, and data analytics.
• Produce forecast with an aim to achieve business objectives - adding value to monthly S&OP forecasting process, managing top-down targets allocation and bottoms-up consolidation of different products/ brands/ channels/ outlets accurately.
• Prepare strategic plans, 5-year plan, annual budget and quarterly forecasts through establishing sound assumptions and analysis by brand and by sales channel/outlets.
• Providing timely insights into business performance against budget/forecast to enable actions to close the gap.
• Analyse and present financial data, reports, budgets, business plans etc. to key stakeholders
• Proactively insights and analysis to profitability, operating efficiencies, operating expenses of every business channel and outlets.
• Drive price-setting process to identify the objective & benchmark by periodic analysis of competitor pricing strategy and determine the company's pricing methodology.
• Responsible to govern sales contracts and trade spend and uphold the contract approval process.
• Assists in branding and strategy development, taking outside-in view (competitor- and other external developments) and translating the strategy into financials and financial KPI’s.
• Build awareness within stakeholder on ROI Metrics - to play a key role in challenging stakeholders in their investment strategy to ensure return per anticipation & portfolio objective is achieved.

Qualifications & Required Skills

You will need at least 15 years' experience in a relevant role (FP&A or Commercial Finance) and at least a Degree in Finance/Accounting or membership with professional accounting bodies like ICAEW, ACCA, CPA or MICPA. To be shortlisted, you will also need solid experience in F&B, Retail or FMCG industry. Adaptability in a high-growth and fast-paced environment is crucial for this role.
