Job description

· Day to day responsibility for all financial, tax, audit, and insurance matters within the Asia Region.

· Month end process including preparation of monthly management accounts for each company/division individually together with Consolidated accounts for presentation to Region Manager & Group Finance Manager.

· Prepare and reconcile balance sheet reconciliation and other financial reports.

· Assist Asia Region Manager in the budget and forecast process

· Prepare budgets, forecasts (including cash flow forecast) and monthly updating of forecasts.

· Liaise with auditors / tax consultants and ensure compliance to Tax, legal & regulatory requirements

· Manage bank relationships and negotiate favourable terms for banking services.

· Manage and optimize the company & cash flow position in the region

· Oversee invoicing process and implement efficient credit control processes in place to maximise cash collections

· Manage AR & AP functions for the region

· Train team members & provide support to operations team.

· Conduct reviews and evaluations for efficiency savings

· Build effective team communications, understand any training and development requirements to improve individual performance

· Perform other related duties as assigned by Management Team

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts closing and treasury functions.

· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

· Perform other related duties as assigned by Management Team

· Build and maintain good relationships internally and with external advisors/contacts
