As we strengthen our presence in the digital economy, we are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to drive our e-commerce growth in the region. Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven E-Commerce Manager to spearhead our e-commerce initiatives in the region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape in these countries, capable of identifying growth opportunities and forging strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for e-commerce
  • Identify and establish partnerships with local e-commerce platforms, distributors, and key stakeholders
  • Conduct in-depth market research to stay abreast of industry trends and consumer behaviours
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor product offerings to local market needs
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with partners to ensure mutual growth
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets
  • Set up and manage live broadcast (livestream) sales channels for regional markets
  • Lead the establishment of local market offices to support regional operations and expansion
  • Coordinate hiring, office setup, and local administrative support for market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, with a strong focus on e-commerce.
  • Proven track record in developing markets, especially in Southeast Asia.
  • Familiarity with the region's business laws is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English; proficiency in other languages in the region is a strong advantage. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90% monthly) for the first few months to target markets.
