Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Regional Budget
- Work closely with Agency Leaders and prepare an annual strategic action plan.
- Agency Management
- Provide a formal platform for the Company to disseminate information and receive feedback from agency members during agency meetings. Agency meetings can be on an individual or group basis with agents and/or leaders.
- Monitor and supervise the agency strategic action plan on 5 KRAs – on the progress and control measures implemented.
- Attend to any doubts, concerns, and problems faced by agency members and provide solutions to overcome the problems.
- Provide guidance and counseling to agency members violating Company/Industry/Regulator’s guidelines and carry out the guidelines among agency members.
- Organize, plan, and launch agency, regional, or Company’s campaigns, challenges, contests, or promotions to agency members.
- Provide agency members a formal platform for interaction and teamwork through group meetings and gatherings.
- Training and Development
- Evaluate and identify Agency training and development needs in agency knowledge, skill, attitude, and habit to improve agency productivity and professionalism.
- Liaise with LEAD/RDE/Special Project Coordinators and implement training and development programs for agency.
- Organize, plan, and implement training and development programs for agency.
- Promote and encourage agency members to attend other Company/Industry’s training/development programs whenever available or necessary.
- Encourage agency members to attend programs as part of their self-development exercise through self-study, etc.
- Manpower Growth
- Assist the DOA in promoting Quality Recruitment Drive within the region.
- Install and promote a Mentoring Program within the region to ensure the development of quality leaders.
- Continuously encourage Agency Leaders to focus on recruiting and training agents for promotion to be future agency leaders.
- Organize and implement Grand Business Opportunity Presentation (GBOP) as the major recruitment drive for new agents.
- Organize and implement a Welcoming program to develop and retain new agents in our Company.
- Plan, organize, and form an Aspiring Unit Manager (AUM) Club to encourage and prepare QAs for promotion to UM positions.
- Coordinate and interview QAs who intend to apply for UM positions.
- Coordinate and execute plans for the maintenance of agency contracts.
- Coordinate, plan, and negotiate for the Creating and Building New Opportunities (CBNO) Project.
Job Specification- Degree in any field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the Insurance Industry.
- A numerate and analytical mind.
- Must be meticulous with the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work under minimum supervision.
