A leading media company in Malaysia is seeking a Regional Conference Producer to lead and produce engaging corporate events and webinars. This role involves managing relationships with sponsors, developing event programs, and ensuring successful event execution. Candidates should have strong communication and project management skills, along with a passion for creating impactful events. The position is suitable for those with at least a year of experience or entry-level applicants eager to learn.
THE ROLE
The Regional Conference Producer will be responsible for handling custom events, bespoke event projects, and periodic support to Lighthouse’s awards business. After receiving hands-on training and coaching from the Regional Content & Strategy Director, you will work towards leading the custom events business by producing intimate corporate Roundtable luncheons, engaging half-day corporate seminars, educational and meaningful webinars, as well as highly unique ad hoc initiatives based on partner objectives.
This role requires you to be comfortable conceptualising and formulating event formats and agendas for a corporate audience (primarily from the marketing & advertising industries), liaising and working with partner senior professionals. Good project management and copywriting skills will also give you an advantage in this role.
OBJECTIVES
The Regional Conference Producer’s primary objective is to take full responsibility for assigned events, create truly compelling content and work with sales, marketing and operations teams to deliver events that meet their financial targets and delight their audiences.
