• 1 internship or up to 2 years in commodity markets, market research, data analysis, or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a deep understanding of fundamentals, supply chains, end uses, and key market participants across regional metals markets, focusing on Southeast Asia dynamics.
• Collect market-facing pricing data, conduct regular price assessments, and set benchmarks per defined methodologies and regulatory standards.
• Write high-quality market commentaries, breaking news, and insightful reviews with sharp price-reporting angles and real-time regional insights.
• Manage and expand networks of producers, traders, and end-users to increase data submissions and exclusive market insights.
• Handle inquiries from market contacts regarding price assessments while maintaining transparency and compliance boundaries.
• Leverage AI and data tools to crawl, structure, and synthesize market inputs for timely internal data intelligence.
• Collaborate with global research teams to ensure consistency across commodity sectors.
• Participate in architectural design and modeling of supply-demand balances and forecasting to improve accuracy.
• Support regional market engagement for pricing authority at events, webinars, and Asia-Pacific panels.
• Provide expert analysis and data-driven support to customized strategy research projects for global clients.
