Regional Commercial Administration Finance Supervisor

The Regional Commercial Administration Finance Supervisorplays a key role in the Commercial Finance organization for Ecolab Asia Pacific (AP). This is a new role for a new Commercial Administration Centre of Expertise (COE) for the AP region in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.The primary responsibilities as a Leader of the COE are to run operations of the commercial administrative finance function for the AP region, align to the division goals and metrics to drive delivery of results, as well as serving as a liaison between division, Global Business Services (GBS), and the markets in the AP region. The person will become a system expert in SAP and help manage the key processes in the COE, focused on rebate andcontract management. It is critical to build a close partnership with each of the divisions to ensure operational consistency, process improvement and best practices across the AP region.

There is a critical people management aspect to this position, with 3 direct reports, and a total team that will continue to grow over the next two years. Additionally, this position requires a lot of interaction and influencing of key business partners, whether at the local, regional, or global level. This role also helps drive consistency and standardization in analytics and commercial practices across the AP Region.

What you will do:

• Help design and implement the new processes related to the commercial administration finance function ( rebate and contract management)
• Team Leader to run operations of the commercial administration finance function,focused on rebate and contract management for the AP region
• Ensure the development of commercial administration finance talent in the COE through involvement in reviews of talent, coaching and mentoring of team members, and providing regular training to the associates on best practices
• Partner with divisions to ensure operational consistency, process improvement and best practices across divisions in the AP region
• Serve as the liaison between Global Division Finance and International Markets with regards to commercial administration finance strategies, priorities, policies, and best practices
• Improve operational performance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of finance experience including 1-2 years of people management role
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency in MS Applications
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent finance business partner
• Commercial Finance experience (customer analysis, rebate, pricing, gross margin analysis)
• Experience working with SAP
• Experience in managing large data sets and data extraction from various systems
• Experience of building analytical report using PowerBI or similar tools
• Ability to effectively communicate complex information in a succinct and clear manner
