Job summary

Malaysia Airports Berhad in Malaysia is recruiting a Manager - Safety & Airport Compliance for the Peninsular Region. The role oversees airport safety compliance, audits, certification, and OSH implementation across regional airports.

The incumbent will drive regulatory adherence with CAAM and ICAO SARPs, manage investigations, and lead safety culture initiatives while coordinating with Airlines, Regulators and Contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 5 years relevant working experience.
• Experience in airport safety governance and compliance.
• Familiar with CAAM, ICAO SARPs and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, audit and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary compliance liaison ensuring activities follow regulatory requirements and MASB policies.
• Conduct, monitor, and oversee audits and ensure timely closure of NCRs from internal and external bodies.
• Prepare and summarise audit reports and track corrective/preventive measures.
• Facilitate Aerodrome Certification and Safety Management System compliance with ICAO SARPs and regulators.
• Implement OSH policies and provide regional safety performance reporting to HQ.
• Oversee risk identification, assessment and incident investigations; implement correctives.
• Support OSH training, awareness, and safety culture initiatives in the region.
• Ensure closure on audit findings across multiple airports within the region.
