Job description

Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Regional HR Director and Regional Total Rewards Senior Manager to implement various regional HR rewards projects and initiatives aligned to the organizational plan and policies, which will support the organization in achieving the business objectives
  • Support the HR teams in APAC in the implementation of Global and Regional HR standards and management structures, such as the global grade job grade framework and job catalogue
  • Support HR teams in ensuring quality data in Workday system
  • Development and enhancement of HR analytics and reports, most of which using PowerBI
  • Identify, interpret, and analyze complex human resources and total rewards data and produce reports, visualizations, recommendations, to provide information for decision making and strategic planning
  • Act as internal consultant on all total rewards related matters to support the business leaders and HR in affiliates in the Southeast Asia and Pacific region to resolve issues and recommend strategic solutions related to total rewards projects and policies
  • Support the execution of the annual remuneration review, annual incentive program, other Short-term Incentives and Long-term Incentives processes for the region, coordinate affiliates in the region to work with remuneration survey providers and external reward consultants if necessary
  • Support staff mobility cases in the region from understanding the case to making mobility proposals
  • Independently work on rewards projects from start to finish, with guidance from Regional Total Rewards Senior Manager when necessary
  • Any other ad-hoc duties or projects

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in HR or a relevant field such as Business or Commerce
  • 4-6 years experience in a total rewards/remuneration and benefits role, or HR generalist with a strong remuneration focus
  • Local HR operations experience would be an advantage
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, intermediate skills in PowerBI skills preferred
  • Familiarity with remuneration processes in cloud-based HR software, such as SuccessFactors or Workday
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and effectively communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of remuneration and benefits frameworks such as WTW job evaluation system
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin or Cantonese is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a complex matrixed environment, work with ambiguity and with simultaneously competing priorities
