ELDS Sales & Solutions Leader, APAC

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. Additionally, you will provide input on market price developments and tendencies. The work model for this role is: #hybrid. This position contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in APAC. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.
  • Understanding key business drivers, including emerging risks such as sustainability, digitalization, and cybersecurity, translating them into impacts and opportunities for ABB.
  • Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account, providing current business and long-term plans.
  • Defining sales targets, monitoring competitors’ activity, and ensuring appropriate response strategies are implemented.
Qualifications for the role
  • Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 10-15 years of experience in consultative technical sales within data centers, critical power, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing long sales cycles and working with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within APAC and occasionally overseas, approximately 50% of the time.
