Job Overview

The Regional Account Director is responsible for driving business growth, managing strategic client relationships, and leading sales initiatives within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on expanding market share, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction while achieving revenue targets and representing the company's interests in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional sales and account management strategies that align with corporate objectives
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets through new business development and existing account expansion
  • Oversee complex contract negotiations and service agreements with high-value clients
  • Lead a team of account managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management
  • Analyze regional market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing service delivery
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, sales forecasts, and pipeline management
  • Serve as the voice of the client within the organization, advocating for client needs
  • Represent the company at regional industry events, conferences, and networking functions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive sales and account management experience
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing strategic client relationships at the executive level
